One More Time (December 16th)
Hello friends,
As some of you may know, this will likely be my last year in Toronto for the near future. I thought it would be nice to get together one more time, have some fun, and play like kids while we still can. Remember those daytime birthday parties? Dodgeball, Lazer Quest, Putting Edge, gymnastic gyms. I miss those times so I decided to plan a day.
I’ve created an itinerary below of some fun activities I wanted to try before I leave. If you’re free to join, I would love to see you but I do understand that December is incredibly busy with work/Christmas parties/holidays. If you can’t make it, I’ll see you when I see you!
Schedule:
Pursuit OCR (3:00pm)
Pursuit OCR is Toronto’s largest indoor playground for adults! They have games, competitions, things to climb, and explore. Think recess, but bigger. You’ll have the freedom to run around and try whatever you want. For photos and videos of their space, check out their Instagram.
If you’re interested in coming, you’ll have to purchase a ticket through their website. It’s 90 mins and gives you access to the entire space. This is a public event so we will be sharing the space with other guests. It is first come first serve. Tickets are $25.
What you’ll need:
Close toe shoes
Government ID
Change of clothes
Lock (optional)
Signed waiver (from their website)
When purchasing a ticket, make sure you select December 16, 3:00pm - 4:30pm.
Rollerpony (5:00pm)
Within the same building as Pursuit, there is a retro roller rink in the back called Rollerpony. On weekends they have a live DJ that plays R&B, Hip-Hop, Funk & soul from the 80s right through the 2000s. This is definitely more of a chill vibe. We can skate around, hang out, and eat some food. If you want to see photos or videos of their space, check out their Instagram.
The purchasing instructions are pretty much identical to Pursuit. It’s a public event so it is first come first serve. Skating is done in 3 hour blocks. Make sure you click 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Tickets with skate rentals come out to $22.60.
What you’ll need:
Comfy clothes/extra socks
Government ID
Helmet/pads if you want
Lock (optional)
Signed waiver (from their website)
